Dissolution...
Earlier this year, after much soul-searching, Plymouth CRAFT's Board of Directors voted to dissolve the organization. As personally painful as this decision was for us, we are thrilled with the plan now in the works to put CRAFT's assets to best and most appropriate use in perpetuity.
... and Relaunch
It turns out that it's harder to dissolve than to form a nonprofit, but once the administrative and legal hurdles have been surmounted, our beloved organization will become:
The Plymouth CRAFT Experience
at the Plymouth Public Library.
Programming will evolve to meet the new circumstances, but the objectives will be the same: imparting instruction and inspiration in traditional handcraft to adults, while supporting a wide variety of practicing artisans.
