"The gender imbalance in woodworking has been a topic of much discussion and something very close to my heart throughout my years as a craftsperson. In fact, I originally started spoon carving due to the lack of female teachers and role models.
Over the years, many people have mentioned a feeling of apprehension regarding woodworking classes, a fear of feeling out of place in this typically male-dominated field. If this describes your feelings, then this is the class for you. We will create a welcoming and supportive environment for anyone who has ever fancied giving woodworking a try, but isn’t sure where to start."
